Mmph. Not even so much as a hint. Ah well...he'd figure Kamui out shortly. He smirked at his comment. Twice the stamina of a human...he wondered how that figured into-No...he'd leave those thoughts untouched. Especially since he didn't know enough about his companion. He sighed faintly. "Well, that'll 'elp us ou' aye?" He smirked faintly.
"We'll nee' so'eone ta' carreh stuff 'round I guess."

"Aww... is carry stuff all I'm gonna get ta' do?" Kamui mock whined, a grin on his face. "How 'bout I...," He said reaching over his shoulder, but only grabbed air. "Oh! Damn, that's right, I left my rutsack in your cabin. Heh heh! I'm so used ta' carryin' the thing around with me when I travel on foot. Ah, I'll show ya' guys later..." He continued leaning against the railing, his gaze moving upward to look at the sky.

Li'an laughed at him. "Well, if'n ya wanna do somethin' else I guess yeh can." He said with a large grin. His eyes roving Kamui before following his gaze to the sky. "I's a goo' day ta sail." He said suddenly. "Winds are blowin' fair...no' a rain clou' in sigh'..." It was a beautiful day...He just wished to be out of port, to find Seven. Seven was a good friend, he could take to the other man like a brother.

"That it is," Kamui agreed, still gazing upward at the infinite blue sky. "I actually prefer rain an' snow myself... but that wouldn't be good for sailin', though that wouldn't be good for sailin' or course..." He turned to Li'an, "Speakin' of such, the men look about done. Are we ready ta' set sail?"

Li'an grinned, as his crew was now awaiting his orders. He pushed off from the railing and barked out orders. The crew seemed much relieved to be moving out, and jumped to do as they were told. Li'an had a slight bounce to his step even as he went, making his way to the wheel. Turning it, the wind picked up the sails, and they moved in the water. They only picked up speed once further from the dock.

"Goodbye, W¨k¨°u. Hello, Y¨sei." Kamui said quietly, leaning against the railing and watching the island shrink in size as they moved farther out to sea. Yibbles had wandered back to Kamui's side, nudging his leg. He scooped up the little piglet, cradling Yibbles in his arms, cooing softly. The piglet yawned sleepily and began to doze off in the warmth of Kamui's arms. Sakurako also sat near Kamui, watching the island grow smaller.

Li'an, after a bit of time out, gave the wheel to another. He stretched and grinned. He loved being out at sea. The wind breezing through the decks, the openness of the ship...It sang a song of freedom that Li'an shared with it. His eyes caught Kamui over near the railing, cradling the piglet. He made his way over, leaning against the rail out at the sea. "Eh...this is almos' to goo' to beh true." He said, chuckling faintly. "The weathehs perfec'...there's no sign o' military ships..." He shook his head , "Seems someone's on our side."

"Well, I do pray regularly," Kamui said with a grin, indicating the cross on the chain he wore around his neck with his tail. "Nonetheless, the Yôsei Sea is a busy one, with the ships of four nations sailing it. Best ta' keep a sharp eye. Well, not that I need ta' tell you that. You're the experienced sailor after all... So, where is it that we're headin' exactly?"
(I've been meaning to ask. What type of ship is the Devil's Tooth?)

"Ya do, do ya?" Li'an looked at him oddly. Heh. He'd probably be the first pirate on the ship to really believe in God. "Ya belie'e tha' then?" He asked. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, it was just a weird thing to come upon out at sea. Grinning he shrugged. "I kno' tis. Thi'll beh where we ta'e down otheh 'hips love." He said, winking faintly and looking about the sea. "We'll beh goin' tah Dibos, in the Xyndi place." He finished, looking to him. "Tha's the las' pla'e I saw Se'en."
(Its like a Flute ship, only a tad skinnier, a faster type ship.)

"Of course," He said with conviction."Not just in the Father, but in the Son an' Spirit as well. Many times in my life I found myself with nothin' but my faith ta' keep me goin'..." He looked out the sea, a distant look in his eyes. For a brief moment he looked and sounded much older then he appeared to be. He seemed to snap back at Li'an's words of taking down other ships. It was something Kamui hoped to avoid, though he realized full well it would be inevitable. He was aboard a pirate ship after all. "Li'an, I will not stop ya' from raidin' other ships, for strife is not what I seek. That bein' said, I submit my disapproval of aforementioned raidin', an' I will not help ya' either. Nor will I allow unnecessary bloodshed or deaths on either side." He seemed uncharacteristically serious, but that quickly faded away. "Dibos, eh? That'll be quite the trip. Let's see... we'll hafta exit the Yôsei Sea by way of the Kaikyô Strait ta' the south, cross the Oriens Ocean, sail through the Arausio Sea around the empire's northern tip an' into the Aquios...," He seemed to be thinking out-loud. "How long did the trip take last time ya' were there?"
(Heh heh, good thing the ship is a faster one. So, as you can see, Kamui has a bit of Vash in him, as well as Himura Kenshin, but I digress... some people respect that and give Kamui a chance to save people, others couldn't care less an' off as many NPCs as they want. Of course I have no say on your actions, as such do what you will when a raid comes up, assuming one does come up. I just wanted to get this bit in before, again, assuming, one comes up..)

"Che...pi'ates don' have muc' nee' o' God an' whateveh." Li'an said, waving one hand faintly. "You'll beh the onleh one ta believe in tha'." He said, watching him for a long moment as he contemplated the other man. Was it just him...or did his mindset change quite often? It was an interesting thing to say the least. He raised an eyebrow as he listened to him. "Tha's par' o' raidin' lovely." He said, tilting his head to one side to consider the other. "They fire 'pon us, we fire 'pon them. Peo'le die in fights." He shrugged lightly, "No' sayin' we'll ge' in a figh' jus' yet..." He closed his eyes a moment, thinking. "Too' us abou' a week at most." He said, shrugging faintly, "I don' realleh pay 'tention to tha' stuff." He said with a faint grin.
(I had noticed yes hehe ^^ But thats completely fine :3 I'll let him save people :3)

(Thank you.
I'm curious, what's the Devil's Tooth's top speed? The trip is about 13,380 miles or 11,627 nautical miles, give or take (I've drawn maps of Syrunn). The Devil's Tooth would have to travel at a constant of 79/80MPH or 68.65/69.5 knots to make the trip in week. I don't pretend to know all that much about sailing, but I'm pretty sure ships from the late-16th century/early-17th century (Syrunn's level of technology) weren't movin' quite that fast. Can modern sailing vessels even move that fast?
I did a bit of research and came up with 15.5MPH (about 13.5 knots) as a reasonable top speed for a fast ship back then. Using that speed, the trip would take about a little over a month, excluding any stops along the way. However, this a merely a suggestion. It's your ship, so for all I know it has some kinda magical propulsion or is packin' Lost Technology, or the like... Or Li'an and his crew are damn good sailors.)

"Well, believe what ya' will," He said simply. "The Lord gave us free will, after all, the ability ta' either accept 'im or reject 'im... But, wow, a week? Your ship must be incredibly fast!" Kamui said in amazement, not commenting upon Li'an's words about the raids. Violence was not his favorite subject. He would deal with the raids when they came and not dwell upon them in the meantime.
(All righty, magical propulsion an' damn good sailors it is then.)

"Were realleh goo' a' wha' we do." He said with a grin. He pushed away from the railings. "So...gotta 'uestion fer ya." He was going to ask, in a very sneaky underhanded way, what Kamui's preferences were. And he could deign an answer to his real question from the others answer.
