One of the Four Great Schools of Syrunn, it is Demia's oldest university. It is located on the southern bank of the Meuse, near the center of Avoir.
An influential center of learning and culture, thousands of hopeful candidates annually flock to the university, but only a select few are accepted into its prestigious schools of art (performing and visual), letters, law, medicine, alchemy, and magic.
Acceptance is based on merit, not money. Tuition is steep, but no matter how much they pay, even those of noble blood will be rejected if they lack talent. On the other hand, the university has funds to finance the studies of extremely talented students of little means.

A small, rural village on the River Meuse, with a population of less then two hundred souls.
What makes it notable is that it is believed that la Pucelle d’Domrémy ("the Maid of Domrémy") was born here centuries ago.

A wide and navigable river, it is a major trade and transportation route. Originating as the chief branch of the Deus River, it flows southwest, emptying into the Rux Sea.
It's chief port is Avoir, but there are several other cities along the river, as well as many fishing and farming communities.

A city south of the Gris Montagne, located on the Segaland Sea near the mouth of the Deus River, it is Écritêtre's largest port. On a major trade route, it's the kingdom's lead dealer of foreign trade, as well as an important naval base.

It serves as the Avalan-Écritêtrean border. It's also important in that it connects the Meuse with the Segaland, forming a major trade route.

A mountain range along part of the Écritêtrean side of the Deus River. It is rich in minerals and its forests a good source of quality timber.
