"I was hungryyy...," Kamui whined, "I'm still hungry..." He held up the bowl, putting on his best smile, "Seconds, please? I'll go nice an' slow this time, I promise. Also... do they get some, too?" He motioned to Sakurako and Yibbles with his tail. They both sat there, silently looking up at the chef; Yibbles with big, wide eyes and Sakurako with cool, indifferent eyes. "Actually," Kamui added as an afterthought, "...Maybe you could just give us the whole pot?"

The chef raised an eyebrow, but grumbled as he filled his bowl a secnd time. He looked to Yibbles and Sakurako..."I suppose they can." He started, "The whole pot?" He looked to the carefully made soup and turned to reply, when he noted Li'en's look. Grumbling he answered, "Of course, if you're sure you can eat it all." He brought it over calmly, placing it in front of them.
"Than' ya kindleh." Li'en said, filling up a second bowl as the chef handed kamui two empty bowls for his friends.

Despite his promise, Kamui's bowl was empty again before the chef even got the pot to the table. "OH, I'm quite sure," He said eying the pot. "Us three once cleared an entire buffet table...," He began to ladle out soup for Sakurako and Yibbles, putting only chicken and broth in one bowl, and vegetable and broth in the other, "...Course we puked it up later, but damn, it was worth it, even if all the other people in line were pissed at us. Heh heh... It was a festival, there were other tables I figured." He bent down, placing the bowl with chicken in front of Sakurako and the other in front of Yibbles, both of whom eagerly began to chow down. They ate just as ravenously as Kamui. "Aw, they like it. My compliments ta' the chef," He said with a grin, looking up at the chef before filling his bowl again.

"You won't be doing that here!" The chef said, pointing a spoon in their direction. "I've got enough beliies to fill without gluttons as well."
"'Ey! Min' yerself. I call the shots 'round 'ere." Li'en had stood up, placing a hand on kamui's shoulder. "'E Kin ea' wha' 'e wan's....'less ya go' a prollem wit meh?"
The chef shot Li'en a glare before he went back to his cooking. He vaguely heard the compliment and nodded. "Thank you."

"No, it's all right, Li'an. I think I understand how he feels." He said, shaking his head, "Ain't the first time I've gotten a reaction like that." "I must seem like a terrible glutton, I know," He calmly addressed the chef, "But please understand, my body... because of my non-human heritage, it uses up the energy I get from food an' drink at a much faster rate then most other folks' bodies, therefore I require larger amounts of food." "With that said...," He paused to down the fourth bowl, before pushing it away, a smile on his face, "...I'll try ta' contain myself while aboard the ship. Four bowls of your delicious stew should do for now."

The chef frowned as he listened to his explanation as he cooked two more pots of the stew. The crew needed to eat too after all. "Mmph. Larger amounts or not I would like it if you did contain yourself...there are others to be considered on board."
Li'an yawned, looking bored. "Ah c'mon now. 'E's fine. Ye kin alwahs jus' cook more eh?"

He grinned, "I'll do my best, sir!" He gave the chef a mock salute. He stood up then, jerking his head toward the door, "C'mon, I'm bored, let's get this search underway, shall we, Li'an?"

Li'an had grinned at the mock salute. His eyes had been on Kamui for quite a bit of time. He stood as the other did, following him out with a grin at the cook. "Don' 'arass 'im love." The cook glared, seemingly understanding. The captain fancied this person. He rolled his eyes faintly. Oh boy would Seven be jealous. Of course, Seven had never said anything about it to Li'an, so it was to be expected.
"O' cour'e!" Li'an grinned broadly, he came out to the deck, heading toward the railing facing the island. He cupped his hands around his mouth. "Oi! Bildgerats! Ge' yer 'ides on board or I'll leave wit' outcha!" That sent a bit of scurrying among his men.

Kamui followed Li'an, Sakurako and Yibbles following him. Once on deck, Kamui leaned against the railing, propping himself up with his elbows. His back facing island, he looked up into the sky, as he often found himself doing. His nose was twitching as he individually scrutinized each person within the area with his supernaturally acute sense of smell, attempting to pick out the members of Li'an's crew by matching them with the various scents he had picked while touring the ship. An amusing little game for him, yes, but much more then that. He performed this or similar exercises to keep his senses sharp whenever the opportunity presented itself. Sakurako was sitting near-bye, silent and still, like an overly serious sentry. Yibbles had taken to sniffing and rummaging about the deck with his snout in search of anything that might be of interest.

The crew had re-assembled, rolling kegs of alcohol and water on board. Some carried the food supplies from the dock on board as well.
"C'mon bildgerats! Mo'e it in fasteh!" Li'an said, and one grumbled at him faintly. What sounded an awful lot like. "We're hurrying!" But he ignored it.
Li'an came over to Kamui, a grin splitting his features as he leaned near him. His hands on the rail he watched the other calmly a moment. "Whatcha tryin' ta do?"

Kamui turned his head toward Li'an, "Ah, nothin' much. Jus' playin' a lit'le game with myself, an' watchin' the clouds drift by. It looks like a fine day ta' set sail. There's even a nice breeze goin'." He ran a hand through his messy hair. "I think I'll go help out, get things goin' faster," He looked over at the men hauling the supplies aboard. He turned and put a foot up on the railing, gracefully leaping off the ship, his long vest and tail fluttering behind him. Landing silently on the dock below next to a some barrels of water, he quickly tipped two of them on their side and began to roll both of them on board at once, one in front of the other.

"Aye....a grea' day fer sailin'." He said with a smile. He blinked as he watched Kamui jump over. He grinned faintly as the other landed noiselessly. He leaned on the railing, sharp eyes watching as Kamui rolled the two barrels. He had to say he was impressed, which made him like the other much more. He placed his chin in the palm of his hand. Sailing would be a tad different with this one around...and if they never did find Seven...well...he could always have Kamui be his second...

Able to roll up more then on barrel at a time, Kamui had the rest of them on board in short order. "Whew...," He paused only briefly to wipe some sweat from his brow. Going back onto the dock, he soon came back aboard, his arms laden with food supplies. A citrus fruit was in his mouth. After he put the supplies down, he quickly chomped the fruit down. "Heh heh!" He looked over at Li'an, "I figure I shouldn't chance it. I, uh, wouldn't wanna get scurvy, now would I!"

Li'an smiled faintly, watching him roll the barrels. He licked his lips faintly, standing upright a moment to walk closer to the loading point. He leaned on the edge, close to Kamui. "Scury is a ba' t'ing ta ge' a' sea." He agreed, grinning. "An' tha'll set ya right." He ten reached out, quietly, and wiped a trail of sweat from the side of Kamui's face. "Don' wor' to 'ard now." He said, smirking faintly.

His eyes briefly flickered to Li'an's hand, but other then that, he gave no physical reaction to the other man wiping the sweat from his face. "Nah," he said dismissively, lacing his fingers behind his head, "Don't worry 'bout me. I've got twice the stamina of a normal human. Besides, the fruit was quite refreshin'." Indeed, aside from a bit of sweat, he showed no other signs of fatigue. Nonetheless, after stepping aside to make way for the other men bringing aboard the last of the supplies, he leaned back against the railing.
