Despite my creative block things are moving inside my head and I can almost see my way to creating a character, I just need some inspiration like good animes or webcomics/manga to read.
Recently I've been re-watching "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" and that has me thinking of an alchemist type character, but I'm not sure if that's really the direction I want to go with.
So this is where you come in, if you've got a great webcomic like "Looking for Group" or an anime like FullMetal to suggest I'm all ears, or eyes in this case. I'm not a fan of animes such as Souleater with all their constant crude humor.

Ahhh, "Looking for Group". I stopped reading that a while back (the storyline seemed to have run away with itself) but I remember it being very good.
Hmm... I'm thinking of animes I've seen that could be good for Syrunn. I'm a huge fan of Death Note and Hellsing (Ultimate)... But Inuyasha is pretty great, though kinda long. And The Slayers is another one of my favourites. Then there's Escaflowne, but I've not finished it yet. :3
If none of those tickle your fancy, I think Kamui would be the one to ask regarding anime, as he's seen more than I have.

Thanks for the suggestions. Escaflowne's a pretty good anime, the protagonist girl annoys me though. But most anime girls annoy me. ^__^;

Ahahah, I totally feel you there. Dunno what I have against female protagonists, especially in animes. Perhaps I'm sexist towards my own gender. xD

I think it's more of the creators are sexist but trying not to be, so they just make the character worse. Anywho, at last I got some ideas and actually got a character made. Decided to do my own artwork as well... which I forgot to put up with the profile. Silly me.

Probably. I find most female anime characters annoying. That could be the voice acting too... lol.
Ohhhh, sounds exciting though about your character. And cool, I didn't know you drew/painted.

I do indeed, though I've only recently started trying to make a habit of drawing my roleplay characters. As an artist I feel a bit like I'm cheating when I use other people's art, especially if it anthro art which is my strong point. If you care to see I've gots an account on deviantart. coro-yuki.deviantart.com/

Dude, your art is amazing. As someone who is only really skilled at manipulating, I have a particular admiration for artists who can draw themselves. I think there is something to be said for people who can create original art pieces. :3
