Age: 129
Race: Wood Elf
Gender: Female
Occupation/Class: Thief, Leader of Kalt Nótt
Orientation: Bisexual
Physical Description:
Being a wood elf, Lady doesn’t have the most intimidating of figures. At around only 5ft she doesn’t exactly instill fear in anyone; however her small stature has helped her in a pinch. Long black curls extend slightly passed her shoulders, framing her narrow, feminine face. Lady's stunning blue eyes, speckled with grey fragments will pierce anything like blades. Though her eyes are sharp and dangerous, there always seems to be mischief and something else lingering in her stormy eyes.
The wood elf's body is small, petite without womanly curves. However, her feminine facial features make up for the lack of curves. Lady's clothing is usually something dark, form fitting and quiet. When she isn't doing a job, thieving she is usually dressed in something more...girly. The wood elf is a fan of nice clothing. A particular trademark of the leader of Kalt Nótt is a stunning, elegant red cloak. However, Lady only wears this while in A Whore's Pussy (headquarters to the thieves guild).

Personality Description:
Indifference is probably the easiest word to define Lady with. It's not that she doesn't like people, or that she wishes suffering on others - it's mostly that she doesn't have time to care. Being the head of a well known thieves guild, Lady can't afford to be anything less than indifferent and cautious. And that's understating it.
With Lady's unmistakable indifference comes silence. She is quiet, constantly in her mind planning and working. At times, her silence has come off rude or even as stupidity but that isn't the case. She is incredibly intelligent, quick and analytical. Observational skills are a must as a thief and guild leader.
To her guild members, Lady is somewhat of an enigma. She doesn't speak much, but any words that tumble from her lips are dry and sarcastic. She hasn't been challenged much by her guild - mostly because everyone knows how quietly dangerous she is. In addition to that, Mag seems to be the only one who has gotten past her guard. Lady is a loyal friend, if you manage to get past her walls and gain her trust (which is not easily rewarded).
Alignment: Chaotic neutral
Likes/Dislikes:
Likes: Money, Mag, knowledge, books, maps, music, the colors pink and red, and drinking
Dislikes: Racism, arrogance, hatred, murder, rape, snobs, loud-mouths
History:
As a wood elf, the land known to outsiders as Win Dain would be Lady's original home. (Though she'd probably never admit to this.) Living there was quiet and peaceful, for the most part. It wasn't often her people were disturbed by outsiders. Their home was usually masked in mist, and deep within the forests of Win Dain. Lady couldn't help but feel somewhat trapped even early on. Despite the vastness of the city in the trees that she lived in, it wasn't enough for her.
Her parents had always spoken of other lands, ones they had apparently visited and their distaste for humans. Lady hadn't really ever met a human herself, but if her parents hated them, then so would she. To her family, humans were nothing more than vile, dirty and savage. All they did was destroy beauty and nature. However, at the young age of 17 the wood elf finally met her first human.
The circumstances hadn't been the best, certainly not what she planned. She had only been playing by a river by herself. Before she knew it, the white waters sucked her in and her lungs were full. She couldn't breath, and blurriness threatened her eyes. It all happened so fast. She was yanked free off the fast current, finally air graced her lungs once more. Lady was dragged to shore by her savior - a human. His face would be something she'd never forget. With a strong jaw line, stark brown eyes and black wet hair that clung desperately to his white face, he was not at all what she had expected. He was large, well built and tall. His name had been Damien. The language was so different, but she'd never forget it as he uttered his name to her.
Lady couldn't understand why her parents hated humans so much. He had risked his own life to save hers. The idea in her head that humans were vile dissipated quickly. As the years passed, her distastes for her own family grew. She learned common tongue from anyone that knew it in her city. Finally, she decided to leave, equip with only a very basic knowledge of common tongue.
It took her some time to make it to the mainland, but she did it. She started to travel Avalas with her best friend Mister Kitty, mostly as a vagrant for years. As she traveled, her fluency in the major language got better and better. After years of traveling, at the rip age of 118 she found herself in Cressa. She had the most unfortunate experience with a young man - he had tried to steal the little money to her name. But he was nothing more than a pathetic, petty thief, at first anyways. Without much knowledge of the city, Lady decided to give the man some of her money in exchange for help.
She got to know Mag, the thief, quickly. He was a terrible thief, still young and untempered. But she righted that with ease. Lady taught Mag every little secret she had to thieving. Eventually, they became best friends. But Lady was a bird still, ready to fly away at a moments notice. And even after a few years, Mag wanted to settle with his little tavern (A Whore's Pussy). But she hadn't seen enough of the world. Lady continued her travels throughout Demia, visiting various lands over the years, meanwhile she stayed in contact with Mag.
In her years of travel she formed a network of thieves - close friends, if she could call them that. Lady eventually returned to Cressa, richer than she had left. Mag was still so young, only 23 years old. But she had been glad to be reunited with her friend - at least until a corrupt nobleman who had fallen victim to her thieving came into town. The nobleman, of whose name is not important, raided Mag's tavern, and it ended up burnt to the ground. It was than that the pair went underground, quit literally. Lady finally set up her thieves guild, her network following her as their leader. And thus Kalt Nótt was formed. Mag rebuilt A Whore's Pussy in the sewers of Cressa, and in only four short years the guild became infamous. It helped of course that Lady had well groomed contacts who were willing to follow her into infamy so quickly. All her assets she had gained in her travels contributed to the guild's success.
The guild is always looking for more members, at the only condition they will be willing to follow the Code Among Them.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths:
Lady is unmistakably a great thief - with incredibly talent. Her magic lends her strength in her selected lifestyle, and it has certainly helped her rise to a position of power. In addition, because she's been able to rise to such a position, Lady has assets sitting all about Avalas. She has a thieves guild to back her, if she needs.
But her strengths don't just come from her position or her magic. As a wood elf, she is lithe, agile and dextrous. Lady's naturally small stature has helped her get out of a pinch many times. Her years of practice has sharpened her thieving (without the help of her magic) to something exceptional. She is capable with her daggers, though prefers to evade rather than offend.
She is incredibly patient, cautious and intelligent. These traits have definitely attributed to the success of her guild, in such a short time. Lady can close a deal with anyone with her silver tongue. It's not about lying, it's about persuasion. As a rather perception little thing, she is good at finding out what people want - and even better she can usually give it to them, for a price of course.
Weaknesses:
While she might be a well tuned machine when it comes to thieving, Lady's small form can be quite a disadvantage in a fight. She isn't particularly strong by any means, and she certainly doesn't appear to be all that threatening. Additionally, while Lady's phasing ability is handy in escape, she runs the risk of losing body parts every time she passes through a solid object, such as a wall or a door.
But, perhaps one of Lady's biggest downfalls is her silence. She isn't exactly walking around with a bundle of close friends. Mag is the only one who seems to know her for more than her indifferent exterior. While she may have a thieves guild and infamy, such a lifestyle is often the lonely kind.
Magic:
As a wood elf, Lady was blessed with a few innate abilities. She is capable of natural healing, using the presence of the Earth. She can heal small wounds, exceptionally and is capable of doing work on larger, more severe wounds but she is not a priestess of any sort. In addition to natural healing, Lady has adept knowledge of plants and herbs. She is capable of mixing potions into powerful poisons or healing salves - something she learned early on in her time in Win Dain.
Lady has the ability to shapeshift into any animal, it was her natural born wood elf gift. However, there are limitations to her ability. She has to have seen the animal at some point, be it in real life or as a picture. This applies to people as well - she can mimic certain features, and even people in specific (but she has to have seen them in great enough detail to remember.) The longer she stays shifted the more energy drained she becomes.
Lady has the ability to turn completely invisible. She can shift the visibility of other people, or objects on her persons as long as she remains in contact with the person, or object. If she releases contact, whatever had been shifted to invisible will become visible again.
Finally, Lady is is capable of phasing. This ability only applies to being able to pass through physical objects, such as solids, gases or liquids. She cannot phase anything but herself and objects she's in contact with. She doesn't know how to phase other people (as it isn't an easy feat). When she phases, she slips into another dimension entirely, then comes out on the other side. The dimension she travels through is usually two way, meaning if she's phasing through a wall, she can go back where she had come from if she changed her mind. Lady doesn't like to phase too much in a day, in the off chance she frags in a phase. Fragging occurs when she comes out of the other side of a dimension and her body doesn't return to it's natural state. This is incredibly painful, if she say gets her arm stuck into a wall. Lady can phase back into the wall, to restore her proper state.
Weapons/Armor/Equipment:
Lady doesn't like to carry much around her. She does have a particular magic pouch, which seems to carry everything and anything. Only Mag knows this, but it's a pouch that leads to a non-dimensional space. Aside from that, she has two thin daggers she wears in her sleeves, with a spring mechanism to push them out into her hands.
Other:
Code Among Them
- All thieves must surrender their alliances, they must become neutral.
- There shall never be murder.
- Inflict bodily harm minimally and only if completely necessary.
- One does not steal for themselves, but for the good of the guild.
- Do not stick one's hand in another's pocket without taking something.
- Success is the only option.
- Those of Kalt Nótt are brothers and sisters. Treat as such.
- The crimes of another are not to be spoken of.
- Race, age, and gender does not matter, only skill.
Lady has a size-shifting, pet leopard (with melanism) named Mister Kitty. Mister Kitty is a special type of black leopard (panther, or melanistic leopard, pick the literal term of your fancy) from Win Dain, with the innate ability to shift sizes. This means Mister Kitty is able to get pretty small, or pretty large. His smallest form is that of a baby panther pictured below. In his largest form his head and body length is 8ft 3inches, with a tail length of 5ft 4 inches (13ft 7inches). In his dire form, Mister Kitty can weigh around 800lbs.
Most of the time, Mister Kitty is in the size of a domesticated cat, but do not underestimate him. Mister Kitty is very protective of Lady (he will transform and scare the shit out of anyone who threatens her ), and regards anyone else pretty wearily. (Except Mag, which over time he has grown fond of.)
It might be worth noting, the cat on the sign for A Whore’s Pussy is actually Mister Kitty.
