Name: Tyrwaithion Saelnir Dragonheart
Aliases: Tyrwaithion is used to the name, "Cailean" given to him by a foster parent, until he met his mother, whom told him his actual name. He goes by both, however he normally tells humans Cailean and any other race besides an Elf, and them, Tyrwaithion. He is called by close friends, "Cail" as well.
Age: 25
Race: Half-Elf
Gender: Male
Occupation/Class: Cailean is a Paladin, thus giving him jobs such as healing the wounded, fighting off bandits from time to time. He's even kept the peace at rough-housing bars for a little cash. He spends most of his days recently, just wandering doing the following things, and has taught himself to become a good merchant as well.
Orientation: Tyrwaithion is originally from Eria, home of the Elves, however his mother gave him to a Human, a Paladin, whom lives near the River Meuse.
Physical Description: Cailean stands firmly for 5'10, with a very healthy body to support that height. Behind a cloak with a hood attached, lies a scar upon his chest, to which a blade unfortunately tore at. He has very dark black but very well treated hair, along with blue eyes attached to the slender face. To go with it, the ears attached are sort of pointed, marking him indefinitely as an Elf, but obviously not completely. Generally, under his cloak, he wears chain-mail, to protect himself from surprise attackers on the road while traveling, as has happened a couple times before. His feet carry leathery boots with him, giving his visible look a rather helpless villager at times. His body alone rounds up to a grand total of 136 pounds. (Very changeable, as I'm not one who knows a good weight for characters, especially ones such as this)
Personality Description: Cailean tends to be forgiving, even of those who would not forgive him back. He sees the good in everyone, even that of the darkest hearts, "If it has a heart, then it has a chance at redemption." That's something he's always lived by, even though he knows some things most likely shall never even attempt to redeem themselves. Tyrwaithion, while tends to not ignite a fight if it can be avoided, thrills melee combat, either friendly or foe, he loves the challenge. He is an exception when it comes to his order, most Paladins say little, and never tend to jest. Cailean, has a good sense of humor, and has even had a time where he put a shoulder over a drunkard's shoulder joined in the fun he was having, and said rather vulgar things. But he saw it as all fun, and made it clear to all around him he was joking, almost sometimes being obnoxious. None the less, he remembers that night being probably the best one he's had thus far. He's also extremely generous, though he keeps an eye on his budget, he's paid before tips that was worth more then what he bought.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
History: Tyrwaithion's father was a Human, and his mother an Elf, his father died at the hands of bandits, but his mother still lives. He was born in Eria but his mother knew he wouldn't be socially accepted by the Elves, but knew one who would teach him up right, even though he wouldn't be accepted much there either. She gave him to Nolrov, whom was a retired Paladin, so to speak. He accepted the offer, always wanting a child of his own, however before he could ask, she was gone, thus forcing him to come up with a name himself, Cailean. He taught him how to be a Paladin, and raised him, as his fauster son. Children made fun of him, but Dymetreus accomplished Cailean's mother's hopes. Once of early man-hood, he started wandering from town to town nearby, merchanting small things, making him in a year's time to actually start making money from it. He's adventuring, while not traveling far from home, but enough to be of help to multiple towns. His hope is to simply help the world as much as he can, even if in the end, it costs him his life. (Sorry for it being so short, just not very many interesting things happened in his life on some parts, so had nothing to tell. This is kind of a work in progress.)
Likes/Dislikes: Cailean dislikes being around him who would do others harm, but will force himself to deal with it, if there's bigger objectives for him to complete. He also dislikes, and avoids starting fights. He absolutely enjoys art, or things that would take much craftsmanship. He also enjoys tasting new foods, strangely enough. If it isn't something he hasn't tried, and looks worthy of a test, he has even been known to pay a hefty coin for it.
Strengths/Weaknesses: (What are their strong points? Do they have any outstanding abilities, talents, and/or traits? These can be physical and/or mental. What about their weak points? Do they have any adverse traits or qualities? Again, these can be physical and/or mental.) Cailean is strong and durable, and has been taught by his foster parent how to endure intense amounts of pain without showing a sign he's feeling it. He has also the ability to heal, being a Paladin. He can heal very deadly wounds, which may cause death without proper treatment. He also is a fast learner when he finds an interest in something, and can be a very determined student.
A weakness is sometimes Cailean can be gullible, if it's a story which has very good structure to keep it up, then he shall listen, depending on what they're asking. He, while makes a good merchant, socially isn't very experienced. He can make goods look like a must-have, but when it comes to in depth conversation with a friend, he normally has to think long and hard to find a reply. Using powerful healing spells can wear him out, taking sometimes a day before making himself a capable fighter. (Lesser healing spells doesn't bother him nearly as much)
Weapons/Armor/Magic: Cailean generally wears light chain mail armor under his cloak. The purpose of the cloak is not for him to stick too far out, and has become a fashion sense of his. He has a one-handed sword under his cloak, in his sheath. He does indeed have magic capabilities, mostly concerning if not all of Divine. (D&D) He uses healing magic the most, thus being well skilled at it.
Other: (Not anything that I can think of, may add stuff here if suggestions are given that would fit into this slot.)
RP Sample: Cailean walked into the seemingly shabby looking bar, nothing quite special, but enough to give anyone belief they get business. Some men noticed Cailean's presence, mostly that of the left side of the open room, but just minded their own business after a glance. Cailean looked around for a place to sit, the bar seemed to look the most appropriate, only a few people made themselves comfortable, so much less trouble. He patiently walked over and sat at a stool at the right side of the room, where they end. He waved a hand over to the barkeep, and said, "The usual, Will." the barkeep took a glance at Cailean, at first not recognizing him, "Cail? Ah! T'is been so long! Where've ya been lad?" Cailean smiled lightly, "Just have been making a little bit of-" suddenly noticed Will looking down his cloak, at his fat purse where he kept his, 'pure profit' as Cailean called it. "A bit o' what? By that purse lad, you been makin' more then a little!" The barkeep interrupted, "Why, you better be sharing some of that by buying more then your usual!" he laughed, and laid down a mug with ale in it. Cailean chuckled a bit with him.
"Well, it's not my fault bandits find their way to me, and then leave a trail of gold behind!" Cailean said, going along with it. Will slammed the bar with his hand, "Bahaha! That'a boy! You showed them didn't ye? Keep doin' that lad, and you'll get a beatin'! Find your match, ye will!" Cailean drank some of his ale during the conversation, "The only thing I'll find is my fortune! And maybe if you keep this up, I'll invest in an certain inn and get a certain percentage of the profit, eh?" Will remained silent for a moment, "Ye really mean that?" Cailean smiled brightly, "Yes, Will. You're well worth the investment, you've done yourself a decent profit considering this wrecked bar." Will laughed, "For you be callin' this place wrecked, you sure do find yourself here frequently, do ye?" Cailean smiled politely, "Indeed I do friend, indeed I do.."
(I'm new to RPing when it comes to forums, and my spelling isn't the best, along with general literature. I'm sorry for my flaws and newbieness, hope you can forgive me for also my character's description for being so small. This is still sort of a work in progress, all suggestions welcome!)
Other: Cailean has a mount, (white stallion) which is more intelligent then the average, (I'm doing it D&D style) and has all the same abilities of that which D&D allows. Nothing really special, when coming to regular Paladin Mount's terms.
